Scholastic I will graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in the major of Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma and plan on pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business.

Honors I have achieved the Dean’s list for scholastics on two occasions, Am a member of the Phi Delta Kappa National Higher Education Forensics for competitive speech and debate, Am a member of the theatre club of Castle Player’s of Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma and Have received numerous first place honors in competitive speech and debate Tournaments across the U.S. as well as qualifying for the national tournament (2003).

Extra-curricular I served as the Executive Vice President and Programming director of the Alpha Activities Sigma social sorority, have received spirit awards and am currently an alumnae, Was an active senator of the NWOSU Student Government Association, Was a successful member of the NWOSU Speech and Debate squad and was active in the competitions of Team-Debate, Extemporaneous Speaking, Persuasive Speaking, Informative Speaking, Impromptu, and After Dinner Speaking events, Was a member of the Northwestern News newspaper staff at NWOSU, Modeled in the Campus Culture Fashion Show and Was a member of the “Has Been’s” UCO flag football team. SECONDARY EDUCATION Speech and Debate: Was the President of the Speech and Debate Squad my senior year, Was a 4-year member of the Speech and Debate Squad from freshman to senior year, Won more than 20 trophies at Speech and Debate tournaments, Have lettered 8 times in Speech and Debate, Was named Best United States Extemporaneous Speaker my senior year, Won the National Forensic League Degree of Merit and of Honor my freshman year, Won the National Forensic League Degree of Excellence my sophomore year, Won the National Forensic League Degree of Distinction my junior year, Won the National Forensic League Degree of Outstanding Distinction Degree my senior year, Have earned over 1,000 National Forensic League points, Qualified to districts in Extemporaneous Speaking and Team Debate my junior and senior year, Was the Neosho Classic Speech and Debate Tournament Chair my senior year, Judges Chair my junior year, and Time-Keeper's Chair my sophomore year, Was a two year member of the Wildcat Times newspaper staff my junior and senior year, Was coeditor of the Wildcat Times newspaper staff my senior year, D.E.C.A.: Won 1st place at the district DECA competition in Team-Hospitality role playing my senior year, Qualified to state competition in DECA for Team-Hospitality role playing my senior year.

Volunteer Work I completed over 50 hours of volunteer work at the Beverly Care Retirement / Nursing Home in Anderson, Mo., I tutored 3 students, all at once, in English and Math for an hour a day, twice a week at Neosho H.S. in Neosho, Missouri, Worked for the “Welcome the Troops Home” USO Volunteer project in Dallas, Texas. Was a mentor to elementary students at the local elementary school in Alva, Ok., Have also done some volunteer reading to students at the Benton Elementary School in Neosho, Missouri along with some other Speech and Debate members and Have cleaned Splitlog, Mo. Community roads.

Work Experience Was a part-time, paid intern at the Edward Sutter / Westline Ritter Law Office, Worked part-time for Linda Stewart and Deb Bentley of the NWOSU Speech Department, Have been in the workforce since I was 10 years old -Babysitting -Cashier (Don's IGA, Pineville) -Restaurant (Golden Corral, Neosho) -Order line representative (Scholastic, Neosho), -Live in Nanny (Edmond, Ok.) -Cocktail waitress for Buffalo Wild Wings (Edmond, Ok.)

Organizations I started a weekly (4-8 pages) newsletter at Splitlog Baptist Church -Wrote stories -Editor -Producer -Distributor, I am also a member of the Splitlog Baptist Youth Group and A member of the McDonald County, Missouri Republican Club.
