CONSULTING SERVICES – DFW Area 2009 – Present Electrical Engineer Provided designs for new project electrical systems and changes & Construction Administration, (CA), for ongoing projects for various firms as requested. Facilities projects included municipal, higher education and commercial offices for lighting, auxiliary systems and power systems.

TLC ENGINEERING for ARCHITECTURE – Dallas, Texas 2005 – 2008 (Formerly PIAZZA ENGINEERING, INC.) Electrical Engineer Designed electrical distribution systems and lighting for commercial office buildings, restaurants, Medical Office Buildings, library and shell strip mall. Designs included modifications to existing building electrical systems. Designed lighting for new nursing school, book stores, branch banks, churches and hotel updates. Designed Post Office emergency power system, new power and lighting for retail stores and coffee shops.

 Designs included HVAC & plumbing equipment power, lighting and controls including site, power including UPS and emergency branches. Designed modular furniture through floor electrical systems for open offices. Designed power & lighting for office buildings of multiple stories and 150k to 170k square feet each.

CARTER & BURGESS, INC. – Fort Worth, Texas 2000 - 2005 Senior Electrical Engineer Managed planning and approval of design concepts, quality control of electrical projects, and design reviews at various milestones in design process. Provided design input for all phases of projects for lighting, power distribution including process and HVAC circuits and grounding. Provided design input for telecom, emergency power, security and fire alarm systems.

 Designed electrical systems for Distribution Centers, dry & refrigerated; food processing plant expansions, including process equipment additions; including interior and site lighting.

Project Manager Established and managed all phases of Telecommunication and Co-location projects from concept and design through construction, involving several company offices. Completed projects on time and on budget.

BICCGENERAL – Marshall, Texas 1991 – 2000 (Formerly: DIVISION OF REYNOLDS METALS COMPANY) Manager of Engineering and Maintenance Managed development and execution of plant engineering and construction projects for an 800,000 sq. ft. facility, and maintenance operations. Department development included staffing, training, compensation, advancement and mentoring.

 Managed a staff of 4 engineers, mechanical designer, maintenance manager, maintenance planners and 34 maintenance technicians.

 Identified, proposed solutions and implemented projects to reduce costs and improve operational efficiencies.

SSOE, INC. – Toledo, Ohio Electrical Engineering Manager, Automotive Division Managed planning and approval of design concepts and quality control of electrical projects; project and design reviews; and workload planning. Managed scheduling and budgeting; project workload assignments; staffing and training. Managed overall department employee relations including compensation, advancement recommendations and mentoring.

RALSTON PURINA COMPANY - St. Louis, Missouri Group Manager, Systems and Electrical Engineering Developed and scheduled engineering, construction and maintenance projects, provided computer support for department and marketing consultation services to outside clients. Managed a staff of 12 engineers.

Senior Project Manager – European Projects – Milan, Italy Instituted total project management of production plant expansions as resident Country Project Manager.

International Project Manager – St. Louis, Missouri Established total project management of new production facilities projects in Mexico, Central and South America, Asia and Europe.

JOHN STEFFEN ASSOCIATES – St. Louis, Missouri Project Manager and Principal Electrical Engineer Provided entire project management of mechanical and electrical design as a consulting engineer. Projects included hospitals, medical office buildings, commercial buildings, schools, State facilities and industrial plants.

DAUGHTERS OF CHARITY, SHARED SERVICES ASSOCIATION – St. Louis, Missouri Project Manager and Electrical Engineer Provided entire project management and electrical consultation for design and problem solving for all aspects of health care facilities.

CHEVROLET DIVISION OF GMC – St. Louis, Missouri Senior Electrical Engineer Engineered and managed design of process equipment controls, power distribution, lighting and sub-station modifications and additions for manufacturing plant expansions and modifications.
