The College Board’s Early Participation Program is an initiative to support the involvement of all students in the college- going process at an earlier age while there is still time to inform instruction and learning, and increase students’ readiness for college expectations. The College Board shall furnish the PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 8/9, and the following deliverables and reports:
PSAT/NMSQT 1.1. School and Student Deliverables: 1.1.1. PSAT/NMSQT test materials (student guides and test booklets) 1.1.2. Student Paper Score Report (one copy sent to school) 1.1.3. Student Online Score Report, with linkages to Khan Academy; students can upload their test results. Students receive free personalized unique study plans based on their performance; 1.1.4. School online access to individual student score reports and aggregate score reports, and downloadable student data file 1.1.5. School online access to AP Potential™ 1.1.6. The Official Educator Guide

The Participating schools represent 10 high schools, with 10th and 11th grades participating (totaling 3,194 students). For the 2016-2017 school year, the state of Rhode Island is paying for all 10th grade students to take the PSAT/NMSQT, so those exams are of no cost to the District. By participating in the PSAT/NMSQT, students have the opportunity to practice the SAT, receive skills feedback, qualify for scholarships, and be evaluated for potential success in AP courses. School- and district- level PSAT/NMSQT score data will be provided to relevant stakeholders for use as part of data-driven decision-making.

The Participating Schools represent 10 high and 7 middle schools, with 8th and 9th grades participating (totaling 3,730 students). By participating in PSAT 8/9, students have the opportunity to complete the first step in the College Readiness Pathway (PSAT 8/9, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT), receive skills feedback, and be evaluated on their academic progress and first steps towards future college success. School- and district-level PSAT 8/9 score data will be provided to relevant stakeholders for use as part of data-driven decision-making.
In no more than three paragraphs, describe the accountability measures that will ensure that the vendor meets all requirements set forth in the contract and that the district is able to maintain a record of the services. Every contract should include explicit language requiring vendor accountability, i.e. required program evaluation or the submission of a final report summarizing progress against each itemized deliverable.
The College Board will provide to the district comprehensive reports on the PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 8/9 performance of all Providence Public Schools students in Grades 8-11 who participate in the respective tests. Every school will account for the delivery of all PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 8/9 materials and will receive guidance from the Office of Research, Planning and Accountability in administering the test, returning all materials for scoring, and obtaining any further necessary assistance. In addition, the Office of Research, Planning and Accountability will conduct testing-day monitoring of the administration of the PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 8/9 at each high school.

Single payment for all services.
