Section 232360(B) of the 1976 Code is amended by 28 adding a new item at the end to read: 29 30 “(10) evidence satisfactory to the director of successful 31 completion of a psychological examination conducted by a 32 licensed professional who certifies that the candidate is 33 psychologically suited to perform law enforcement related duties.” 34 35 SECTION 2. Section 232360(C)(4) is amended to read: 36 37 “(4) If the officer’s certificate has lapsed, the council may 38 reissue the certificate after receipt of an application and if the 39 director is satisfied that the officer continues to meet the 40 requirements of subsection (B)(1) through (9)(10).” 41 42 SECTION 3. Section 232360(D) is amended to read:
[958] 2 1 2 “(D) The director may accept for training as a law enforcement 3 officer an applicant who has met requirements of subsection (B)(1) 4 through (8) and (10).” 5 6 SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the 7 Governor. 8 XX 9
