THE CLACKMANNANSHIRE COUNCIL (DOLLAR TO CROOK OF DEVON) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2006

The Clackmannanshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order.

1. This Order may be cited as "The Clackmannanshire Council (Dollar to Crook of Devon) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2006” and notwithstanding the date hereof shall come into operation on the 28th September 2006.

2. The effect of this Order shall be to close to vehicles:- The period from 0830 hours until 1700 hours on Monday 9 th October, Tuesday 10th October and Wednesday 11th October 2006, the section described in the Schedule hereto to provide a safe area for contractors cutting back trees along the route.

List of Roads Section of road over which temporary road closure is applicable between the hours of 0830 hours and 1700 hours on Monday 9th October, Tuesday 10th October and Wednesday 11th October 2006.

Dollar to Crook of Devon From a point 100 metres or thereby east of the extended east kerbline of A91 for a distance of 230 metres or thereby.

Alternative routes Via A91, A823 Yetts O’Muckhart, Dollar to Crook of Devon Road and vice versa.

STATEMENT OF REASONS FOR MAKING THE ORDER

The order is required to provide a safe area for contractors cutting back trees along the route.

The Clackmannanshire Council has made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 20th September 2006.
