Uncover Famagusta’s hidden treasures, one of which is the City of Salamis. The ancient site covers an area of one square mile, extending along the seashore. Your guide will lead you around the amazing amphitheatre and the gymnasium, both of which have been extensively restored. You continue your journey into the old city of Famagusta, where you have the chance to see the abandoned town. This town has literally stood-still since the invasion of the Turks in 1974. The citadel, also known as ‘Othello's Tower’ is one place that you must visit while you are here.
The enchanting atmosphere of the Gothic monastery of Bellapais will capture your spirit, while you enjoy the local charm and the breathtaking view across the rolling countryside all the way to the horizon. At the foot of the Pentadaktylos mountain range lays the picturesque port of Kerynia with many hidden treasures. Here, time seems to have stood still. The medieval fort, the small houses along the narrow streets, and the u- shaped port with its colourful fishing boats invite you to enjoy a leisurely stroll.

Kourion – Omodhos – Apsiou – Monagri, incl. lunch
Your first stop of the day is at the ancient city kingdom of Kourion where you visit the Greco-Roman theatre and the House of Eustolios. A highlight is the mountain village of Omodhos with its majestic Holy Cross monastery and the old wine press. Take a stroll through the winding, narrow cobbled streets, lined with traditional houses. Sample some wines of this region. You then proceed to Apsiou, a village outside of Limassol, where a traditional meze will be served whilst two guitar players will play traditional tunes. Continue to Monagri and see in the old school house how loukoumades, honey balls, are being made. Savour their delicious sweet taste
