AP Chemistry Syllabus Nathan Peck Room 207

Homework: 10% of quarter grades. All homework that is graded will be turned in on time, no late work accepted. Problem sets for some of our units will be due the date of the unit tests.

Laboratory: 35% of quarter grades. Lab work is done weekly with a partner. All reports are to be completed individually and turned in the following week. No late lab reports are accepted. All lab reports are to be maintained in a laboratory portfolio that will be checked and graded periodically throughout the year. Complete list follows the schedule at the end of this document.

Tests: 55% of quarter grades. Unit tests occur about 6 times per semester.

Final Exam: 20% of semester grade. Comprehensive test made to simulate an AP Chemistry exam experience.
