Winterfest Dress Up Days Tuesday 2/9 – Tie Dye Wednesday 2/10 – Wacky Socks Thursday 2/11 – Throwback / 80’s Day Friday 2/12 – Red, White & Blue Day

Culinary Arts Club students are selling tickets for a Cupcake Raffle. If you purchase a ticket for $5.00 each, you will be able to select a chocolate or white jumbo cupcake decorated with a pink butter cream frosting. In addition, your name will be put in a raffle to win a $50.00 Visa gift card and a $25.00 Visa card. The drawing will be on Feb 12th during 7th mod. Your can pick up your cupcake and winning gift card after school on Friday the 12th. See Mikayla Sherrick-Kinnard, Emma Dorin, Jacob Solis, Hunter Kron, Cheyenne Calaway, Ksenya Seager, Logan Birkholtz, or Matt Piotrowski for a ticket. You can also purchase tickets from Mrs. Pierce at Door 3 or stop down to room 418 and pick one up from Ms. Garbe. Tuesday, February 9th will be the last day to purchase tickets!! Thank you for supporting our Culinary Arts Program.

LAUNCH leader applications are now available in the guidance office and in room 416. They must be returned byFebruary 12th by 3:30 pm to either the guidance office or Mr. Borchardt's room, 416.

If you love to compete and test yourself physically as well as participate against the best athletes in the area and the state, then; All Boy's who are planning or thinking of participating in Neenah Track & Field this Spring need to attend a Mandatory informational meeting with a Parent on Monday, February 15th, at 6:30pm in Room 148.

Coffee House Auditions – February 17th and 18th from 3:30 – 5:30 pm in room 128. Sign up for auditions in the Activities Office (no cuts). Coffee House will be Thursday, February 25th from 7:00 – 10:00 pm. Food and drink will be sold at the event. There will be raffle prizes.

Winterfest Dance Guest Passes are now available in the Activities Office. Guest passes are to be filled out and turned into the Activities office by Wednesday, Feb. 10th. The dance will be held Saturday, Feb. 13th. Tickets will go on sale starting Monday, Feb. 8th for $10.00 each. Mark Wood, Emmy-winning composer and former member of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, will be giving an electrifying performance with the NJSD Middle and High School Orchestras in Pickard Auditorium on Thursday, Feb. 18th at 7:00 p.m. Seating is reserved and tickets are $10 ($5 for 10 and under). Are you interested in becoming a member of the Twin City Youth Trap Team? The registration and first practice will take place on February 25th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Twin City Rod and Gun Club located at W7832 Winnegamie Drive, Neenah, WI. In order to register, you must have taken a Hunter's Safety Course.

Neenah Boys’ Hockey won three games last week to capture the Badgerland Conference tournament.

Powerlifting - Neenah girls captured the team title and the boys placed third in the 22nd annual Neenah Invite, which featured over 200 competitors. Both Neenah JV teams also captured team titles. For the girls varsity team, Delaney Ortiz, Taylor Wyngaard, Dallas Cavegn and Karley Wyngaard won titles with Cavegn and Wyngaard both setting school records. Evan Koehnke was named second-best lifter in the varsity boys’ competition and Bryce Londerville also took home an individual title. Overall, Neenah has had 16 qualifiers thus far for the State Powerlifting Championships in early March.

Special Olympics - The Neenah White basketball team beat the SOAR Falcons last week 36-15 and also recently posted an 18-14 win over the Fond du Lac Cheeseheads. The Neenah Red team beat the Fond du Lac Wildcats 24-11 and plays Tuesday at the SOAR Ravens at McKinley Elementary in Appleton. Also, at the Special Olympics State Winter Games in Wausau on Jan. 23, Corey Ehrgott won three medals in skiing. He captured a gold medal in the Slalom and claimed bronze medals in the Super G and Giant Slalom events.

Boys’ Swim and Dive - The Rockets captured their second straight FVA championship and 18th in the past 22 years at last week’s conference meet in Fond du Lac. Neenah totaled 517 points and Appleton North/East was second with 425 points. Maxwell Boehnlein won the 100- yard breaststroke and 200-yard individual medley titles, while Eli Rocke won the 50-yard freestyle. Boehnlein and Rocke were also joined by Aiden Clark and Jake Enz on the winning 200-yard medley relay. The Rockets will host the WIAA Sectional meet this weekend with berths to the state meet at stake.
