Objective

I wish to use my expertise developed over a span of 10 years in the field of education to gain an appointment as an assistant principal at the high school level in order to help make a better school and carve a niche of a learning system, which not just imparts bookish knowledge to students, but also trains them to become successful individuals in life.

Department Chair – Mathematics August 2014 – Present  Facilitated the common content planning periods in developing and differentiating effective instructional practices and strategies to improve student achievement.  Coordinated SOL remediation sessions to provide students with an opportunity to be successful on the EOC SOL test in Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II.

Summer School Administrator May 2014 – August 2014  Coordinated summer SOL testing in all subject areas.  Successfully planned and coordinated the summer graduation exercise for Hanover County Summer School.
