Sulphur High School will offer summer school for students who have failed a course. The principal of the last school attended shall determine the subject(s) to be taken for promotion.

Courses offered *Courses offered shall be subject to the number of requests.  English I, English II, English III, English IV  Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Math Essentials, Financial Math  Physical Science, Environmental Science, Biology I, Chemistry I  World Geography, Civics, U.S. History ,World History

Registration information  Permission to take course work for remediation or removal of deficiencies must be provided at the time of registration.  Students may pre-register for courses beginning Monday, May 25, 2015.  Sulphur High students will register in the business office.  Registration for students who have attended schools other than Sulphur High will be in the business office office. They must have a letter from the principal of the school they last attended.  Registration for students who have not pre-registered will begin at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, May 27th

Fees and Tuition  Full credit work$200.00 per credit  Half credit work $100.00 per half-credit  Full payment must be made at the time of registration. Tuition is non-refundable after May 29, 2015.

Summer School Calendar  May 25-26 Pre-registration  May 27 Regular registration:8:00 AM  May 28 Summer school session begins. Report to auditorium at 8:00 A.M. for orientation.  June19 Final Exams for half-credit classes. Last day for half-credit courses.  July 3 Holiday  July 13-14 Final Exams for full credit classes  July 15 Summer school session ends. Grades released.

General Rules and Policies  The uniform policy adopted by the Calcasieu Parish School Board will be in effect. Students not in uniform will not be admitted to class.  Regular attendance is expected. Absences must be excused by a written note from the parents and may not exceed four class periods for full credit course work and two class periods for half credit course work.
