Transportation Coordinator Association Meetings

2008 – 2009 TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR ASSOCIATION MEETINGS

To better serve the Transportation Coordinators in the Maricopa County Trip Reduction Program, we’ve changed the way we handle Transportation Coordinator Association meetings. Here’s the scoop:

 FIVE Face-to-face TCA meetings are offered: Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest, and Central City. This allows us to provide a consistent, quality program at every gathering.  Meetings for these 5 groups will be held 7 times a year – in January, February, March, May, June, September, and October. In addition, we will offer one morning and one afternoon webinar in each of these months.  All groups (including webinars) will cover the same topic in the same month. This means TCs can attend any meeting that suits them and still get the same information.  In April and August we will hold Regional webinars on broader – but still Trip Reduction related – topics. This allows us to address topics of statewide or even national importance.  No TCA meetings or webinars are planned for July or December. Other online offerings are probable.  Face-to-face meetings will be held at the same location each month – no more hunting for an unfamiliar address while hurrying to a meeting.  TCAs will be facilitated by Valley Metro staffers Suzanne Day and Lillian Duarte, with support from the Business Services team member responsible for that area of the valley.  Valley Metro will provide light refreshments.  There is no charge to attend these meetings.
