1. ALL THE TRAINING SESSIONS WILL TAKE PLACE IN BURNLEY UNTIL OTHERWISE INDICATED. 2. LUNCH WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM ABOUT 12.30 P.M. 3. THE SpR SESSIONS WILL TAKE PLACE USUALLY BETWEEN 1.30 –2.15 P.M. UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED. 4. JOURNAL CLUB PRESENTERS SHOULD SEEK GUIDANCE FROM THEIR CONSULTANTS, SpRS OR COLLEGE TUTOR IN CHOOSING THEIR ARTICLE AND ON CRITICAL APPRAISAL ISSUES. 5. JOURNAL CLUB ARTICLES SHOULD BE CIRCULATED VIA E-MAIL OR IN PAPER FORM BY PRESENTERS AT LEAST ONE WEEK BEFORE THE PRESENTATION DATE. 6. CASE CONFERENCE PRESENTERS SHOULD SEEK GUIDANCE FROM THEIR CONSULTANTS WELL AHEAD OF THE PRESENTATION DATE WITH REGARD TO THEIR CHOICE OF CASE AND THE THEMATIC ISSUES TO BE ADDRESSED. 7. IT IS EXPECTED THAT JUNIOR TRAINEES WILL BE PRESENTING CASES ON BEHALF OF THEIR TEAM AND THAT THEY WOULD BE WELL SUPPORTED IN THE PREPARATION AND PRESENTATION OF THE CASES BY THE SENIOR COLLEAGUES IN THE TEAM. 8. IF FOR ANY REASON THE NOMINATED DOCTOR IS UNABLE TO FULFIL HIS/HER COMMITMENT (E.G. ON ANNUAL LEAVE/COURSE/NIGHTS), PLEASE ARRANGE WITH A DOCTOR SHOWN ON AN ALTERNATIVE DATE. OUTRIGHT CANCELLATION OF A SCHEDULED PROGRAMME IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
