The purpose of my call is to offer you a friendly reminder to renew your membership. I’ve received so many benefits from being a member, so I know how important this membership is – I hope you agree. If you would like to renew by credit card online or monthly autodraft from your checking, you can go to www.financialpro.org and click on the “Join/Renew” button at the top of our home page. You can also renew over the phone by calling the Society’s Member Service Department at 1-800-392-6900. They can also send you another dues statement if you need one. I first wanted to thank you being a member of FSP and let you know that according to the membership department you have not yet renewed your membership. I hope this is an oversight but I wanted reach out to you to find out, are you planning to renew?

1. Planning to renew…on the phone

Great, I’m glad to hear that. If you’re like me at all, you understand the benefits of membership and the importance of being a member of our organization, especially in this economic environment.

I can renew you now over the phone if you have a credit card handy or take the information for monthly autodraft from your checking account.

. If yes to credit card or autodraft: o Review their dues amount with them, including their Section selection o Enter type of credit card (FSP accepts MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover); the expiration date.

2. Member Wants to Renew Online

You can go to the FSP Web site at www.financialpro.org and click on the Join/Renew link at the top of the home page to renew online with a credit card or by bank draft. On the Join/Renew page you will be prompted to enter your user id (use your email or member id) and password (your last name). This will pre-populate the online renewal form with your information. I can send you the link now – it will just take you a few minutes. We have your email address as ___from Membership Call Tracker___ I’m sending it now.

3. If member wants to mail in a check…or fax in credit card

Great, do you have an invoice? The mailing address and fax number are on the invoice. Oh you don’t have an invoice; I can have FSP national office send you an invoice if you don’t have one. What is your email address? Okay, I’ll be sure you get the invoice.

4. If member wants to call in to 800# to renew… Great. Let me give you the number of Member Services: it’s 1-800-392-6900, they are available Monday through Friday 9am to 4:30 pm eastern time.
