Raging River Presentation HPA Tech Retreat Feb. 17, 2010

Slide 52: The Founders of Raging River were one of the first to bring to market a secure portable video player. The DigEplayer was introduced in airlines that didn’t have costly In-flight Entertainment Systems in 2003. They developed a global network of distributing movie content to reload these players in the field. Following the sale of DigEplayer the founders saw the explosive growth of portable media players like the iPod and 60 other MP3 & MP4 players. They believed that there was a business to distribute movie and other entertainment contact to people “On-the-Go”.

Slide 53: I joined Raging River Corporation in July 2007. I was excited about the challenge to build a system that would meet the needs of the founders and satisfy the Studios and other content owners security concerns.

Slide 54: It order to get to market rapidly, Raging River choose “Best-In-Breed” Technology Partners.

Raging River has several key differentiators from other “Kiosk Companies”. We are a white-label technology and service company. Our POS systems are branded with our clients names. We provide custom technology solutions that meet the requirements of each client. We offer current and future Media formats by having a flexible and extensible delivery platform. Raging River’s Technology Partners include Studio approved MPAA Certified Facilities, Media Distribution companies with extensive networks and existing connections into Studios and their supply chain. Our partners include, forward thinking Flash Media Storage companies that provide enabling technology and established computer manufactures that provide stable platforms. Due to time constraints, I’ll highlight only three.

Slide 55: Raging River has a very creative development and manufacturing team. Though our technology partners we are able to offer our clients unique POS Systems that meet their unique niche requirements.

Slide 56: Raging River can provide delivery of both Packaged Media and downloadable Digital Media. The Packaged Media can be Standard DVD, Bluray or the one way DVD format: Flexplay. Flexplay has a special glue binding the plastic layers that when exposed to air it becomes opaque in 5 days. This capability enables a unique SKU with limited content and a reduced sales price. Flash Media with preloaded content is another form of Packaged Media that is offered.

Slide 57: The download systems enable current and future Flash Media to acquire content from the kiosk systems. They will support USB 3.0 and SDXC when those media prices become acceptable to consumers.

Slide 58: The Raging River System will support the emerging platforms of eReaders, Smartphones and Tablet Media players. Slide 59: Raging River has been working with Mo-DV for several years. They provide a unique platform for secure digital downloads where content is “tied” to the Media not the device.

Slide 60: Mo-DV has a unique player application that can recognize the operating System of the device and reconfigure itself for playback. It currently works on most Smartphones and PCs.

Slide 61: MO-DV has many benefits over existing systems. One encode can support many small screen devices while a second encode can support large screen playback systems. A single piece of Flash Media can enable playback on multiple platforms.

Slide 62: Raging River has recently partnered with ATP to provide preloaded content on Flash Media. This flash media has secure partitions to protect the content and offer space for the consumer to add additional content. ATP manufactures USB drives & SD Cards to Mil- Spec.

Slide 63: ATP offers SNS technology, with only 300 lines of code provides authentication capability. Offering both protected and unprotected capability. Slide 64: ATP also offers its X1 technology which allows an additional security for movie content. X1 technology also enables the Mo-DV player to Autorun content without user interaction.

Slide 65: Raging River has been working with the principals of Xona Media for several years. The introduction of the ground-breaking Mark3 Kiosk will enable us to deploy in locations that can’t support a large “Redbox” type kiosk.

Slide 66: DVD Station offers reservations over the Web or Mobile and an automated promotional display. DVD Station also in partnership with Sonic Solutions provides Raging River with Qflix Manufacture on Demand capability.

Slide 67: Raging River’s partner DVD Station provides the secure reporting and backend systems that enable credit card purchases, track media purchases and update it’s relational database recommendation engine.

Slide 68: In Summary, Raging River open architecture design allow “Best in Breed” technology and service partners to plug in APIs which allow us to offer our clients and consumers unique POS systems and future proof media format delivery. Our POS kiosks support current and future media delivery platforms.
