Background: Equal Access is a not for profit non-governmental international organization dedicated to delivery of critical information and education to underserved communities in the developing world. Our mission is focused on integrating culturally appropriate Information and Communications technology in support of social and educational development objectives. We have been active in different areas like production of radio dramas, videos, digital stories, documentaries, and holding workshops, public forums, table talks, listening circles and etc through undertaking projects in our approach toward our vision “the establishment of a world where all people have equal access to information”. So far health, addiction, human rights, tolerance, violence, agriculture… issues have been the focus of EA’s projects since 2002, its establishment in Afghanistan. We are currently implementing numerous projects dealing with human rights, tolerance, community mobilization, leadership, transparency, advocacy, responsiveness and etc.

SCOPE OF WORK: Equal Access Afghanistan is accepting quotations from logistics companies for the provision of 6 transportation vehicles to be used for staff pick up and drop (Home-office-back) during official hours operating inside Kabul five days in week (Sunday - Thursday). Official hours during the week would be from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. These vehicles will be operating inside Kabul city and based on project implementing demand and travelling to provinces (overall Afghanistan). The contractor will be eligible for overtime for each of the vehicles if used beyond the official time in Kabul city.

Required vehicle with model & specification: Quotes for [6] transportation vehicles:

1. Toyota Corolla model 1995-96 [4] vehicles: These vehicles should be fully equipped with complete cooling and heating system, new tires, jack and others accessories. 2. Toyota Corolla model above 2000 (1) vehicle: This vehicle should also be fully equipped with complete accessories. This vehicle will be travelling to the field for project implementing purpose. 3. Toyota Hilux Surf 4X4 (1) vehicle: This vehicle will be used in Kabul and could be sent to provinces on official trips and should be fully equipped with accessories.

Terms & Condition of contract: This contract is for one year; starting from 1st February 2017 up to 31st h January 2018. If the performance is found satisfactory during the first year of rendering transportation services, then contract may be extended to the next year.

Drivers: Equal Access Afghanistan has already hired professional drivers for the operation of these vehicles so the quote does not require the inclusion of driver salaries.

Note: Companies can submit their quote for per day usage inside Kabul city and provinces. The entire vehicle expenses such as fuel, maintenance, insurance, accidental cost etc should be beard by transport provider.

Submission guideline: All interested companies can send their quotation to Equal Access Afghanistan organization up to 22nd January 2017 till 2:00 pm local time by email to [email protected]. If the proposal is submitted in hard copy then it should be in a sealed envelope. All proposals should be attached with a cover letter including proposal, official quotation with company stamp and valid license copy. The documents provided in the proposal should be in English language.
