Gibbs, a coaching veteran with 17 years of experience in the collegiate ranks, took over the Ospreys after a 10-year stint as an assistant coach at the University of Miami. GIBBS AT A GLANCE During his decade at Miami, Gibbs helped guide the Hurricanes to six consecutive post- season appearances including four trips to the NCAA. He was a vital piece of Miami’s COACHING EXPERIENCE: recent success with responsibility for player development along with handling schedul- North Florida Head Coach ing. In addition, his recruiting efforts helped the 'Canes earn three Top 25 classes during 2015-pres. his tenure. At UM, Gibbs recruited and mentored several players that have continued their playing careers professionally in the WNBA and overseas. Miami (Fla.)
