Classroom Rules

We firmly believe that life’s successes depend on self-discipline. We have developed a classroom discipline plan that affords every child the opportunity to manage his or her own behavior. Your child deserves the most positive learning environment that is possible for academic growth. Therefore, this plan will be enforced at all times.

Timber Ridge Rules  1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.  2. Be in your assigned seat/area ready to work when class begins.  3. Have paper, pencils, books, and all needed supplies everyday.  4. Keep hands, feet, and all objects to yourself.  5. No cursing, rude gestures, teasing, or put-downs.  6. Follow directions of school personnel.

To help our young students get acclimated to our discipline procedures, our primary focus will be on the following four expectations:  1. Follow teacher directions and procedures.  2. Keep hands, feet, and all objects to yourself.  3. Work cooperatively to maximize learning in the classroom.  4. Be kind and respectful to others and yourself.
