Here is the plan of a bedroom. It is drawn using a scale 2cm represents 1m.

By measuring the picture answer the following questions:

i) How wide is the door? ii) How wide is the window? iii) What are the dimensions of the fitted Wardrobe, if it is 2.5m high? iv) What are the dimensions of the room?

Make a copy of this bedroom for yourself onto square paper.

You need to buy some furniture for this bedroom. You have a budget of £500, which you cannot go above - you do not have to spend the full amount, but you cannot over spend.

You must buy: a) A bed b) A computer workstation c) A chair d) A filing cabinet or shelving unit
