Command Sergeant Major Allen Braswell

Command Sergeant Major Allen Braswell was born in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. He enlisted into the Army on 4, January 1989. Up on completion of One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Knox, Kentucky, He was awarded the MOS 19K. CSM Braswell served as an M1 Abrams Tank Armor Crewmember until April 1995. In May he reenlisted for the signal corps. He has held every enlisted leadership position from Team Chief to Command Sergeant Major.

CSM Braswell’s assignments include, One Station Unit Training (OSUT), Fort Knox, Kentucky; Tank Gunner, Ft Irwin, California and Vilsec, Germany; signal system Team Chief and Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC) instructor, Fort Hood, Texas, Section Sergeant, Camp Carroll, South Korea; Drill Sergeant, Fort Gordon, Georgia; Two tours Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Command Sergeant Major 304th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, 1st Signal Brigade, Camp Stanley South Korea.

His military and civilian education consists of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA), Advanced Noncommissioned Officers Course (ANCOC), Basic Noncommissioned Officers Course (BNCOC), Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC), Drill Sergeant School, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Equal Opportunity Advisor Course and many other additional duty and professional development courses. CSM Braswell has a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from Excelsior College.

His military awards and decorations include two Bronze Star Medals, four Meritorious Service Medals, the Drill Sergeant Badge and a host of other achievement and service related recognitions. CSM Braswell has also been awarded the Bronze Order of Mercury, the Order of St. Barbara, the Order of Samuel Sharp and the Sergeant Audie Murphy Awards.
