Reference List:

Author, Initial. (Date). Title of work. Location: Publisher.

Notes:

Author / Date:  For a description of how to list various authors – see the Author commentary.  For a description of how to appropriately identify the date – see the Date commentary.

Title:  For title of the work, only the first letter is capitalized unless it is a two-part title.  Capitalize proper nouns.

 Include additional information on the publication in parentheses following the title (e.g., edition, volume number).

Location and Publisher:

 Location typically includes city and state or province, along with publisher name – see the Publisher commentary.

 For reports that are only available from the Educational Resources Information Centre (ERIC) or the National Technical Information Service (NTIS), include the document number at the end of the reference.  Do not use a period after the number.
