Namibia With its well-developed infrastructure, some of the best tourist facilities in Africa and an impressive list of breathtaking natural wonders, touring Namibia is truly a pleasure. Visit the capital of Windhoek and the lovely coastal town of Swakopmund to discover remnants of the country’s German influence, reflected in the architecture, culture, cuisine and the annual Oktoberfest celebrations. To properly appreciate this extraordinary country, you will have to venture out of the cities to explore the remarkable natural landscapes Namibia has to offer. These include: the impressive Fish River Canyon Park; the vast Etosha National Park teeming with local subspecies, such as desert lions, desert elephants and the Hartmann's Mountain Zebra; the hauntingly beautiful Kalahari Desert; and of course the Namib Desert stretching for nearly 1000 km along the magnificent Atlantic coastline. Namibia is an ideal destination for travellers seeking an unforgettable African experience in a uniquely beautiful untamed wilderness.
Day 1: Erindi Camp Elephant, Central Namibia (Tue, 25 October)
Central Namibia The central Namibian highlands are much cooler and less harsh than the arid lowlands that make up the majority of the country. This is great cattle ranching country and most tourism facilities have their origins in cattle and more recently game ranching.
Overnight: Erindi Camp Elephant Rugged with a touch of comfort and style, surrounded by unspoiled, game rich bush, Camp Elephant features 30 campsites. Each campsite features a solar heated shower and hand basin, individual kitchens with a washing up and food preparation area, as well as vehicle awning and a braai with adjustable grid. Camp Elephant also offers self catering units comprising of fourteen chalets, situated in a semi circle overlooking the floodlit waterhole. Each chalet has two bedrooms, with two single beds and crisp clean linen. The open plan living area has a dining table, a sleeper couch, flat screen DSTV and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a spacious shower.
Included Dinner, Bed and Breakfast Day 2-4: Kaias Fountain Wild Camp, Damaraland (Wed, 26 October to Fri, 28 October)
Damaraland Huge, untamed and ruggedly beautiful Damaraland is an exceptionally scenic landscape of open plains and spectacular rock formations. The major attractions are Spitzkoppe, the Brandberg, Twyfelfontein, Vingerklip and the Petrified Forest.

Day 4-6: Hoanib River Wild Camping, Skeleton Coast (Fri, 28 October to Sun, 30 October)
Skeleton Coast Known by the Bushmen as the "land God made in anger" the Skeleton Coast is remoteness at its best. Thousands of miles of sandy desert dotted with shipwrecks meet with the cold waters on the Atlantic and somehow an amazing array of wildlife and flora manages to survive in this harsh but beautiful environment.
Overnight: Hoanib River Wild Camping The Hoanib River Wild camp is situated close to the Hoanib River, in a remote region of Africa, where the desert landscapes of Kaokoland meet the Skeleton Coast. The camp provides a relaxed haven from where guests can explore the land. The rugged mountains and canyons of the Hoanib River provide a refuge for some of the continent's unique wildlife.
Included Full Board Day 6: Palmwag, Damaraland (Sun, 30 October)
Damaraland Huge, untamed and ruggedly beautiful Damaraland is an exceptionally scenic landscape of open plains and spectacular rock formations. The major attractions are Spitzkoppe, the Brandberg, Twyfelfontein, Vingerklip and the Petrified Forest.
Overnight: Palmwag Palmwag is beautifully located along a palm-lined tributary of the Uniab River. Water is scarce in this area, so the river’s presence often lures elephants closer to the camps. Palmwag is situated halfway between Swakopmund and Etosha and is the ideal base from which to see the sights of the Kunene region or embark on one of the many local hiking trails.
