New Documentary Brings Viewers Inside Children’s Hospitals Special Feature Narrated by Actress Jamie Lee Curtis Scheduled to Air in [city] at [time, date]

The hour-long documentary will be released nationwide via PBS in the fall of 2005 [specific times of airing]. In developing the documentary, narrated by actress and children’s hospital advocate Jamie Lee Curtis, the production team visited five children’s hospitals around the country collecting compelling stories from each location. Health topics highlighted in the documentary include bone marrow transplants, childhood cancer, Injury prevention, research and clinical trials, as well as emergency health services. Stories were selected to underscore the importance of and to promote support for these facilities.

The documentary was made possible through the Kohl’s Cares for Kids® program, which raises funds for children’s hospitals through the sale of special gift items. Four times per year, Kohl’s features special items in its stores priced at $5 each with 100 percent of the net profits donated to designated hospital partners.
