JOB TITLE: Account Manager FLSA STATUS/FT-PT: FT – Exempt REPORTS TO: Vice President Operations DIRECT REPORTS: YES LOCATION: NY or NJ Summary Leads regional territory and is responsible for client relationships and the successful execution of the operations. The Account Manager has P&L responsibility for several facilities, is operationally solid in order to run efficiently, as well as commercially savvy in order to identify opportunities for market share growth. Has demonstrated proficiency and consistency of the highest standards in operational and financial management, while maintaining client confidence as measured by client satisfaction and retention. In addition, the Account Manager has demonstrated a history of unrelenting passion to be of service and for continuous improvement both personally and professionally. Essential Job Functions Acts as the regional liaison for the client. Charts and conducts the start up of local operations, performing any role as necessary in order to achieve success. Maintains a culture of safety, high performance, teamwork, service, improvement, kindness and respect. Understands and promotes corporate standards and values through both personal example and formal education. Conducts capacity planning, achieves financial objectives, reduces costs, analyzes variances, and monitors corrective action plans. Performs regular, documented audits of regional operations to ensure compliance with client and company standards Generates an annual recruiting schedule based on historic volume trends and local recruiting lead times. Educates delivery staff on service expectations and reviews performance metrics. Recommends improvements to systems and procedures. Leads continuous improvement efforts by preparing reports and collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Performs regular seen and unseen audits of delivery staff. Ensures regulatory compliance for each facility in designated territory. Complies with policies and procedures and with all applicable Federal, State and legal requirements. Performs other related duties as required and assigned Education Bachelor’s Degree and 4-5 years relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and Skills Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed goals in a timely manner following the S.M.A.R.T. principle Experience or education in Lean Six Sigma Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective and positive relationships with clients, employees, supervisors and the general public requiring courtesy, discretion and sound judgment Demonstrated ability of performance management while leading others and working effectively with different backgrounds and races Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills in English and preferably Spanish Computer proficiency particularly in, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision, and as a member of a team, making quality, on-demand decisions JOB DESCRIPTION This is a general outline of functions and it is not intended to be all inclusive.
