International Charitable Foundation “International HIV/AIDS Alliance in Ukraine” is offering two new positions in its NGO Support Team : - NGO Support Officer - NGO Support Assistant on the project “Reducing the risk of HIV Infection Among Representatives of Vulnerable Groups” in four regions of Uktaine: Zakarpattya, Mykolayiv, Odesa oblasts and the city of Kyiv. The project is funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for the money of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tu- berculosis and Malaria. International HIV/AIDS Alliance in Ukraine is an international charitable foundation support- ing communities and community action that has to play a substantial and efficient role in the global re- sponse to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The Foundation’s priorities are: supporting civil initiative aimed at reducing HIV prevalence in the most vulnerable communities, developing public support of HIV-positive people and their family members, reducing stigmatization and improving services provided to HIV-positive people and groups most vulnerable to HIV, detecting, exchanging and replicating examples of the most efficient civil re- sponse to the epidemic.

Qualifying candidates should meet several or all of the following criteria: - Experience of work at/with Ukrainian NGOs working in the field of HIV/AIDS prevention - Experience of work with communities most vulnerable to HIV/AIDS (injecting drug users, com- mercial sex workers) - Strong motivation to work in the field of HIV/AIDS prevention and to make a significant contri- bution to fighting the epidemic - Higher education (priority will be given to candidates having medical, social work, or manage- ment education) - A minimum of 2 years of professional experience (for the NGO Support Officer position) - Working knowledge of Ukrainian, Russian and English languages (speaking and writing) - Experience of project management and/or participation in projects relevant to HIV/AIDS problem - Teamwork skills and ability to work under pressing deadlines - Computer skills (advanced user).

Candidates will be selected in a transparent competition process. Qualified women are encouraged to ap- ply. The Alliance will reply only to the candidates selected for an interview.
