How to Request a Test-taker’s Printed Diploma
Once the test-taker has taken and passed the GED® test, they are eligible for one free printed diploma. The test taker can request the diploma by following these steps.
Step 1: Log into MyGED™
The Test taker should log into their account on GED.com
Step 2: Access the Credentialing Request Service through MyGED™
Click on “My Scores”
Click on “Order Duplicates.” This will take you to the Credentialing Request Service webpage.
Step 3: On the Login or Register page, click “Submit”
Step 4: Select the documents you are requesting
Under Select Document, choose “Diploma”
Under Send my Diploma to, choose “Other Individual”
o Enter your name or the name of another correctional facility representative and click “Next”
Under Select Product Type, select “Printed Diploma - Free” NOTE: The first copy of the printed diploma for each test-taker will be free. Fees will be charged for additional copies.

Step 5: Verify the details of your order
Enter the mailing name and mailing address fields with your name and the address, city, and state of the correctional facility and click “Continue”
Review your order and click “Checkout”
Step 6: Complete and submit your order
On the Provide Consent stage of the checkout process, the page should indicate that consent has already been received. Click “Next” to proceed.
Review your request and confirm your order by clicking “Confirm”
An order confirmation will appear with your order number. Click “Log off” to leave the credentialing website.
Once completed, the test taker can expect a printed copy of their diploma in the mail sent to the address provided. Test Takers can request additional copies of their diploma (for a nominal fee) in the future by following these same steps.
