This promotional tool kit helps you use traditional and social media to let your community, customers and potential customers know that you have been recognized with the Safeco Premier Partner status.

Instructions A mention of your Safeco Premier Partner status in local media can help position your agency as a trusted advisor and influence whether consumers would seek you out for their insurance needs. While a full-fledged story is unlikely, most outlets will regularly publish business briefs. Here are some suggestions for contacting your local media.
Send a short email to your local media (in particular, newspapers, business publications, and local news websites). Explain that you have earned recognition from Safeco Insurance as a Safeco Premier Partner agency. Tell them that more information is contained in the news release you have attached. Be sure to include a professional portrait of yourself. Here’s a sample email: o A local independent insurance agency in your community recently earned high honors from Safeco Insurance, a national personal insurance company. Please include the attached news release in your business briefs or announcements section. A photo also is attached. Please contact me directly if you have questions or need further information. Thank you for your assistance. If you don’t receive a response, don’t worry — reporters, editors, bloggers and other media professionals are quite busy. You can follow up in one to two days with another email or a phone call to ask if they have seen your email.
