i API 17TR8 HPHT STATUS REPORT

1. STATUS

The API 17TR8 task group has reorganized and held meetings every two weeks starting in April. A new table of contents has been prepared and will be presented/discussed at the Subsea Roundtable meeting June 12.

With the Table of Contents now taking shape, the task group hopes to have a first draft document by the Fall.

It was also decided to postpone ASME Division 3 interaction until the task group gets the draft document prepared before any submissions as a potential “case study” to ASME. API subcommittee 6 and 16 are have contacted the task group and have decided to monitor progress but will not actively participate at this time. Subcommittees 14 and 16 have prepared strawman annexes for API 14A and 16A which have been circulated to task group members for reference.
