1. Welcome

Chair Bob Mark called the meeting to order at 9:00 am. The meeting was held in the Administrative Offices in room AO406. Chair Mark welcomed everyone to the meeting.

2. Approval of Minutes

The minutes from the March 4, 2016 meeting were approved as presented.

3. Guest Speaker

Yvonne Martel, Project Coordinator, Compete Florida Representative was the guest speakers for the March meeting. Pete Shapiro, Director of Creative Services- Complete Florida Liaison was unable to attend.

1 4. Report from Chair

Chair Mark reported that Chris Holland, VP of Student Services will be the guest speaker at our next meeting.

5. Discussion Items

APM & Board Rule Updates- None

APC Awards- None

CLC- Stephen Beard, HR Training and Communications Manager presented at the last CLC meeting. He reported that he is planning to schedule additional “Foundations of Effective Supervision” trainings. Chair Mark reported that Dr. John Wall, will be the Acting Provost and Vice President, Academic Affairs. The APC board members would like Chair Mark to address scheduling of courses for fall semester at the next CLC meeting.

6. Action Items

APC Webpage/Spotlight –Dr. Nancy M. Sutton, interim associate dean of career education at Kent Campus. will be our Spotlight recipient which will be featured in the Blue Wave News. Our next Spotlight recipient will be from the Open Campus/Deerwood Center.

7. Information Items

Our next social networking event take place on April 28, 2016 at Sweet Pete’s Candy Apple Cafe located at 400 N. Hogan Street.

Elections for the APC will be held in May. It is the responsibility of the incoming chair to handle the election process.

8. Adjournment- The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 am.
