ENTRIES: Form, Fee and Closing Date

1. Teams, submit a completed entry accompanied by the $300 total team entry fee, payable to: Yankee Homecoming, no later than 4:30 pm on June 1, 2017.

2. Only one entry may be filed per team. Teams must mail or scan completed form to: Yankee Homecoming. Late entries will be accepted and placed on an alternate’s list to fill spots if they become available up until the time that the Tournament Committee establishes final seeding. Entries will not be accepted unless; they are accompanied by the correct entry fee, check or money order only, no cash please. Telephone and email entries will be accepted however your spot will not be guaranteed until we receive your payment. All checks must be made payable Yankee Homecoming.

3. Rules -  32 team single elimination tournament slo-pitch softball tournament. Dates and bracket to be posted.

 The games are co-ed with at least two of the nine players of the opposite gender

 Games will last 7 innings with a coin toss to determine home team

 Six homeruns per games. Additional homeruns will result in an out for that team.

 Mercy rule – 15 runs after the end of the fifth inning.

 Unlimited arc (no minimum or maximum)

 Counts will start at 1 ball and 1 strike. A second foul

 The tournament will provide wooden bats and restricted flight softballs

 Rosters are locked at the beginning of the tournament

 All players must be 16 years of age WITHDRAWALS-Teams who have applied to participate in the event and wish to withdraw for any reason MUST notify the Michael Volpone by email: or by telephone at 978-479-2550 prior to June 1, 2017. Teams who fail to follow this procedure will be listed as a NO SHOW. Refer to refund policy.

REFUND POLICY-All payments will be held in an escrow account and shall be refunded immediately should event not occur. Requests for refunds received prior to 5/31/17 will be honored (less $25 per entry administration fee). No requests for refunds will be honored after 6/1/17. No fees will be charged if a player change on a team occurs before the start of the event. In this situation please notify the tournament director as soon as possible with the name of the new player. No refunds will be given once a team starts play under any circumstances including medical.

RETURN CHECKS -All checks returned due to insufficient funds will carry a $35.00 service charge.
