WiN does not have a shelter or physical location. Instead, we operate through a tight-knit network of foster homes. Our foster homes are the private residences of individuals who want to help Westies in need, giving them a safe and loving sanctuary while we try to match them with a qualified permanent adoptive home.

As a foster parent, you would decide when (and if) to accept a new foster Westie.

HOME VISITS

This involves visiting the home of an applicant adoptive family after their interviews and reference checks are completed to meet the prospective family in person. Please fill out this section below if you can do a Home Visit

Westies In Need (WiN) Rescue will be responsible for the approved medical care of all foster dogs within the organization's program. It is the responsibility of the foster home to provide safe bedding and proper nutrition of all our dogs. WIN will contact the chosen animal clinic and arrange payment for approved medical expenses.

By participating as a Westies in Need (WiN) Rescue volunteer, I agree to hold harmless WiN Rescue and any volunteer/member of WiN Rescue from any liability arising in conjunction with my participation as a volunteer with them.
