Job Title: FT Licensed Therapist Position number: 202958
Salary: Commensurate with experience and credentials Location of Position: Lowndes ACT 40,000-58,000 Valdosta, GA
Description of Duties: Under general supervision, provides evaluation and therapeutic services to adult mental health consumers in home/community settings. Responsibilities include completion of complex psychosocial assessments, treatment team participation, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Other duties include individual, family and group counseling. Majority of services will be provided in the home setting, hours will be flexible and require some weekends and some “on call” work.
Minimum Qualifications: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LAPC or LAMFT with one year of full time experience involving direct client contact such as therapy, case management, intake assessments and crisis screening or must have two years of experience working as an Intern and eligible for an Associates License within one year.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working with adult individuals that have co-occurring disorders.
Pre-employment drug testing and a criminal records background check are mandatory. If appointed, applicant will be subjected to a Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record Databases.
