Project Description: Link Light Rail – Satellite Operations & Maintenance Facility East (OMFE) - Bellevue, WA This 28 Acres Site in Bellevue will provide for storage and repair of (96) Light Rail Vehicles in a (14) Bay Maintenance Facility, employee offices, and OMFE Yard Track Work Major Subcontracting Opportunities will be available in completing the OMFE Work Scope that includes:  Civil Construction for the Yard, Maintenance Facility, and Offices; also an East Side Bike Trail  Installation of Train Control for the Yard & Entrance (Traction Power substations-Yard & Shop)  Overhead Catenary System (OCS), Communications and SCADA

Kiewit is seeking subcontractor and supplier interest and quotes from qualified members of the Small & Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting Community who want to partner with us by providing best value pricing to Sound Transit in the construction of this East Link Light Rail project. In order to assist certified small business subcontractors and suppliers, we will divide scopes of work into economically feasible units, and will assist firms with meeting delivery schedules, providing points of contact regarding bonding, lines of credit, and insurance; and giving information so that Small Business can secure their own sources of equipment in order to maximize Small & Disadvantaged Business participation.

A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) will cover construction performed on the Project by the Prime Contractor and all Subcontractors. The provisions of Sound Transit’s Labor Compliance Manual will apply to all Subcontracts entered into for the construction of this project.
