At the Moment Starwood Offers Workplaces for Teachers in Seven First Class Hotels

In the past AEHT Europe cooperated with Accor offering workplaces for teachers in its hotels Europe- wide. However, this agreement took an end in 2011. The presidium was lucky to get in contact and to create a new agreement with Starwood. AEHT thanks Starwood for its commitment to our schools.

At the moment Starwood offers workplaces for teachers in seven first class hotels:

In the future this list will grow as the demand for workplaces will grow.

What’s the procedure to follow? 1- Read the conditions as stated in the document “Application Form”. 2- Ask your principal for his/her agreement on the vocational training. Your principal has to sign the document “Letter of Permission” 3- Fill in the document “Application Form”, at least two months before the desired placement date and send the document, together with the document “Letter of Permission” to: 1° the human resources contact person of the hotel applied for (see document “List of Participating Properties”), 2° Mrs. D. Kunze, coordinator at Starwood ( [email protected] ) and 3° Mr. H. Siebens, coordinator at AEHT Europe ( [email protected] ). 4- Wait for the yes or no answer from the hotel applied for (by means of the document “Undertaking Letter”, send to you by the HR manager). 5- Take contact with the hotel applied for to negotiate the possibility and price for your stay at the hotel itself. If any problem in getting an agreement, take contact with the AEHT coordinator, Mr. H. Siebens, who will act as a go-between in attempting to solve the problem.
