Laura Berman LCSW, Ph.D., an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry and obstetrics/gynecology at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University, has been working as a sex educator and therapist for 20 years. Earned a master's degree in Clinical Social Work and a doctorate in Health Education and Therapy (specializing in human sexuality) at New York University. Dr. Berman went on to complete a training fellowship in Sexual Therapy in the Department of Psychiatry at New York University Medical Center.

Director of the Sexual Health State-of-the-Art series, an accredited program for the Council of Continuing Medical Education, and she currently serves on the foundation board of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality. She is a member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists and the National Association of Social Workers.

She has appeared in the pages of nearly every major publication and on radio and television, including the Oprah Winfrey Show, the Today show, Fox News, CNN, the New York Times, USA Today, Glamour, Elle, and Ladies' Home Journal. Dr. Berman is also a regular contributor on the Today Show, giving viewers advice about sex and relationships in a TV segment and column, "In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman." She stars in Showtime's hit reality TV series, Sexual Healing, which follows real-life couples through a week in therapy with her at the Berman Center.

Jennifer R. Berman, MD, is a urologist and an internationally renowned expert and pioneer in the field of female urology and female sexual medicine. In 2001, Dr. Berman, who is among the few female urologists in the United States, co-founded the Female Sexual Medicine Center at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She serves as director of female urology and sexual medicine at the Rodeo Drive Women's Health Center in Beverly Hills, Calif.
