Bentiu Area Diocese of Malakal humbly received fifteen thousand Us Dollars only, (15,000USD) from the Episcopal relief and Development (ERD) as Positive Respond to emergency appeal for Relief Assistant for the Most Vulnerable persons of North South Sudan war and 2012 Flood Victims. Bentiu communities are most grateful with Anglican Alliance office, Especially Ms, Tania Office for picking up our Appeal for prayers and posting it on Anglican wed site for Helps. Our thank goes to ERD office for quick and positive contribution they have made for the Most needy people of Unity state at a time. The Church is helping the Young Nation in the Area of Health, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods Projects. We have visited the Area for Needs Assessment mission, After We Are Advised by RRC and Ministry of gender Child and Social

Of which thirty (30) Vulnerable HHS were supported by ERD/SUDRA Emergency relief Items which targeted the most vulnerable groups in the area of Pawarjak settlement. Care international Targeted (80) HHS with Shelters. Ninety Eight (98) House Holds (HHS) are Now on the Waiting List of an Assistance when any Agency come for Help including Church and UN agencies. In addition they have requested Church and Schools facilitates in the area as one of their second Priority during Needs Assessment in this particular Area. 4) Who has beneficed directly or indirectly from your response? The Number above is in desperate needs of helps with Relief, foods and non foods Items and shelters before the rainfall. 7) Did you lease with other partner organizations to implement the response? Which ones? Episcopal Church of the Sudan ECS Bentiu Area Diocese work in coordination with Sudra, with the Support from Anglican Alliance and ERD which made Bentiu Area Diocese Emergency Relief Appeal for humanitarian reinforcement effort become Reality. Off course our effort for relief Distribution was successful with Help of State Ministry of Gender/Child and social Development and off State Relief and Rehabilitation commission, who were kindly helps by ECS/SUDRA Relief Team During assessment mission, purchasing and distribution Exercise. 8) Which were the main difficulties that you have encountered? a) Transportation was a great challenge in Unity state, because of Poor Road. b) Commodities Prices Rose up to Black Market Prices in the All State. c) Returnees and Floods Victims Needs are very high. 9) Which have been the main achievements? a) Purchase of Construction Materials for most Needy Returnee Rubkoana county Unity state Bentiu. b) Support for Thirty (30) HH. Who were founded to the most vulnerable Returnee in Pawarjaak Settlement?

4 c) Implementation of Emergency Relief Project went successfully. 10) Could you identified some lessons learned that might be used in other emergencies or may be by other churches? a)Mobility and Roads Condition b) Huge population in desperations with limited funding. c) Delays for the Release of available Funds. d) Influxes of Refugees, Returnees, and internally Displaced Person IDPS within Flooding and insecured Area make things uncontrollable within the Young Nation like South Sudan. 11) Could you provide some testimonies from members of your community? Testimonies during Assistant Bishop John Gattek to Pawarjaak new residual area 1)Mary Nyadiet Machar one of the returnees woman express her happiness due to the building materials which they have received from ECS/Sudanese Relief and development Agency three weeks ago because the assistance given especially to the vulnerable people(eg windows, disable person)since there is no any other NGO providing shelters to the needy was so great.(See Photo No 1 Testimony) 2) John Makul Changath is local chief for returnees residents says we have started building our houses immediately after Sudanese Relief and Development Agency render the materials for building to the needy in Pawarjaak returnees new given residential area but we hope God will helps Bentiu Area Assistant Bishop John Gattek Wallam to continue to visit us along with SUDRA director and other staff members so that we settled in peace the items we received from SUDRA(are, hard grass,bamboos,ropes,papyrus reeds).(See Picture No2 Testimony) 3) an Elderly woman Nok Luny Diang whose picture positioned in No3 expressed Her appreciation to ECS response to the situation we are in now since most of returnees are not able to support themselves by building shelters to stay, now Iam very happy because my grandchildren and myself are living in a good house and when we came here it has not been easy for us to settled, but the intervention of SUDRA to give us humanitarian assistance early this month has been wonderful especially to needy people in Pawarjaak residential area.(See Picture Number No3 Testimony) 12) For the update in the website will be important to have some pictures.
