Position Summary: The Manager of Program ensures high quality implementation of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls in grades K-12 by maintaining community partner relationships and programming opportunities and executing council-wide programs and initiatives including annual celebrations, council-wide girl groups, and the Girl Scout highest awards.

Essential Functions:  Applies expert knowledge of how to engage with girls, the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, and the ability to support staff and volunteers in delivering high-quality program experiences to a growing number of diverse girls.  Research and cultivate new partnerships and develop badge programs in outlying counties.  Collaborate with our membership and troop support teams to deliver Program-In-A-Box opportunities.  Manage and support robotics teams including expanding programs into all counties served by Citrus Council.  Coordinate large-scale signature events such as but not limited to Destination Exploration, National Girl Scouts Day, annual career fair and expo.  Supports the development and implementation of council plans to evaluate girl outcomes and use the findings for continuous improvement in volunteer delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.  Ensure all programs align with the Girl Scout Mission and Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

Qualifications & Education:  BA Degree in administration, business, education, marketing, or equivalent experience and/or education may substitute for a degree.  3+ years experience in a progressively responsible customer services or products position that included marketing, customer support, business development.  Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and data bases.  Knowledge of Volunteer Management.  Skills in customer service and event management.  Ability to train and supervise volunteers and staff.  Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends, and attend various meetings and events.  Ability to network, lead events and meetings, and motivate volunteers.

Preferred:  Previous experience in Girl Scouts.  Bi-lingual (Spanish & English).
