1. Executive Director’s Reflection * In Rome, there used to be, perhaps there still is, the phrase for Pasquetta or Little Easter (the Monday after Easter Sunday -today!), “Natale con i tuoi; Pasqua con chi vuoi.” At Christmas you spend it with your own (family), and Easter you are with whomever you want. One could reflect on this traditional saying and see it lived in the area of Rome by people heading out to parks for picnics, enjoying the early springtime, and milling about with a variety of people. Not a bad idea if you are not working today. If you are working today, perhaps this reflection might simply be a brief invitation to take a two minute mental, emotional, or spiritual journey beyond the exigencies of your work day to let your awareness and heart be “con chi vuoi” or “with whom you want to be.”

That’s it for my reflection today. Rather than your spending two more minutes reading my thoughts, let yourself enjoy and be nourished by your own Pasquetta or Little Easter. Whom do you want to be with for the next couple of minutes? Please do…

A blessed Easter season to you,

David Lichter, D.Min. Executive Director

2. Please provide us your feedback on the second public draft of new Strategic Plan * Last week we sent you an invitation to provide your feedback on the second public draft of the new NACC Strategic Plan. You have until Tuesday, April 17th to provide your feedback to us. Why wait? It will only take a few minutes. To access the draft go to www.surveymonkey.com/s/NACC2ndDraftFeedback. The Board of Directors will review all feedback and develop Draft III on April 26, 2012. On May 21, 2012, members will comment on Draft III at National Conference and on May 22nd the Board will review these member comments and refine the Final Draft. Thank you for your feedback!
