Chairperson: Amy Lammey, Mower County Vice Chair: Michael Peterson, Winona County Recorder: Jennifer Cable, Prairie Island Indian Community City of Rochester EOC – August 6, 2015 – following HSEM regional meeting Face-To-Face Meeting

1. Call to Order – 12:20 hours 2. Roll Call (Mark Marcy has attendance sheet) 3. Approve previous minutes – Motion by Olmsted County, second by Freeborn County. Motion carried. 4. Approve current agenda with addition Region 9 update. 5c approval for financials. 6c approval for work completed and invoice payments. Motion by Winona, second by Goodhue. Motion carried. 5. Financials and Grants a. Judy Indrelie stated that billing expenses were for Region 9 work. (See attached financials sheet for exact numbers.) b. She did go to the HSEM for the approval to change dollars from the IP Gateway work, and did get approval to move the dollars last week.

Motion to approve the financials by Rice County, seconded by Nicollet. Motion passed. 6. Old Business a. Blue Earth County submitted their JPA. Motion made to accept Blue Earth into the JPA by Winona County, seconded by Dodge County. Motion passed.

b. Region Nine Update – Scott Reiten i. Sheltering Workshops/Shelter Management Training – August 18th in Red Wing. Rice and Freeborn Counties as well as the City of Rochester will also have one, dates TBD. Workshop in Winona is at the end of August. THIRA work is starting. Motion to approve Region 9 update made by Goodhue, seconded by Winona, Motion passed.

c. Approval to pay invoice when received, motion made by Goodhue, seconded by Winona. Motion passed. (Judy stated that the way the contract is written is that we all need to read the invoice and then approve to pay them. However, now we are going to give Amy the authority to do that without the group having to review it first.

7. SE Minnesota Disaster Health Coalition SEMNDHC Update: Jones/Lammey – JIC and survey for behavioral health will be coming. There is probably an upcoming workshop for JIC planning as well. 8. HSEM Update: Mark Marcy- already done during previous meeting. 9. AMEM Update: Diane Richter-Biwer – Registration for AMEM Conference is open. The Board did the first phone interviews for the new person to take Jim Halstrom’s position as Executive Director before the conference so that person can shadow Jim. There are new pullovers available, they are $35.00 and will likely go fast. 10. Adjourn – Motion by Dodge, second by Olmsted. Motion carried. Adjourned at 1237.
