Fundraising Teams – Chair and volunteers to develop and execute fundraisers

Grant Writer-- We’ve recently had someone join who is doing their first initial grant but we always need more than

one

Photographer – To take pics at the shelter and of dogs we have available for adoption

Helpline responders--Take messages and distribute to appropriate TCHS member to take action

Website/Petfinder--Updater to post events and animals for adoption

Adoption Counselors – To work with potential adopters to find the right fit for their family and to conduct

application reviews and home visits as well as conduct the introduction between family and animal.

Follows up with adopter after a few days.

Barn Manager – To oversee volunteers and to maintain supply lists, laundry, etc at barn

Rescue Team Members – To see what is available at the shelter and help with the transport and situating of the

location where the animal will be kept whether it be barn or foster or vet clinic

Animal Care Helpers – To help feed and clean up after the animals at the barn

Education Co ordinator – To design the curriculum and communicate with school authorities about access to the

school/students to conduct classes on kindness to animals and proper animal care

Community Advocate – To spread the word about TCHS and what we do, what we need

Donated Food - Program co-ordinator – To arrange for the unloading and sorting of food at the storage unit Transporters (short and/or long trips)

Adoption Event Chair(s) – Organize and execute adoption day events and advertise for volunteers. Manage

volunteers

Adoption Event Volunteers – Help with handling an animal at the adoption event and be able to articulately

communicate the mission and vision of TCHS

Rescue Networker (help find breed specific rescue organizations and make contacts/create relationship)

Obedience Trainers

Foster Co-ordinators and Foster Homes
