“Practical Agroforestry in the British Isles” Farm Woodland Forum Annual Meeting at Cranfield University Friday 23 June 2017

Registration for the “Agroforestry 2017: Improving Productivity for Farmers and Foresters” Conference on Thursday 22 June 2017 must be made separately online through the Soil Association website.

This form is to register for the 2017 Farm Woodland Forum Annual Meeting. The event commences with an evening meal and the AGM at Cranfield University on Thursday 22 June. On Friday 23 June, there will be presentations focused on practical agroforestry in the British Isles followed by a field visit to the apple and arable agroforestry system managed by Stephen Briggs near Peterborough.

Location and travel information to Cranfield University, Cranfield, MK43 0AL The meeting takes place at Cranfield University, Cranfield, MK43 0AL. The evening meal will take place at Cranfield University Mitchell Hall and the morning sessions are planned for the Stafford Cripps Teaching and Learning Centre (Building 41). Travel directions to the University are available from Cranfield University website.

By air: the nearest airport is Luton Airport and there is a shuttle bus to Luton Parkway train station; from where a train can be caught to Bedford Train Station. The cost of a taxi direct from the airport to Cranfield University is in the region of £40.

From Bedford Bus Station: there is a bus service from Bedford Bus Station to Cranfield University approximately every half hour that takes 40 minutes. The cost of a taxi is in the region of £20.

From Milton Keynes Bus Station: there is a bus service from Milton Keynes to Cranfield University approximately every half hour that takes about 40 minutes. The cost of a taxi is in the region of £15.
