Regent’s Park formed part of the royal chase appropriated by Henry VIII. Today it is the largest grass area for sports in Central London offering a variety of activities other than sporting including theatre and the Zoo. Royal Parks are today managed for the enjoyment of the public and balance the needs of all visitors and wildlife.
