Agenda Introduction (Chair)

1. Discussion of BB2 Draft Looking for comments on the chapter structure, content, any issues or omissions and, in particular, if the group have references or examples that can be included.

2. Discussion of BB3 Draft Looking for comments on the broad chapter structure, content, any issues or omissions and, in particular, if the group have references or examples that could be included in particular areas. Can agencies provide examples of qualitative methodologies including when to use each technique, the strengths and limitations, data/information needs of each. Also how do these methods overcome constraints such as sample sizes, small population numbers, environmental and cultural context, non-random attrition effects etc.

3. Discussion of BB summary document Looking for comments on the structure, content, any issues or omissions and, in particular, if it provides a summary at an appropriate level for organisations or individuals new to outcomes-based management (in light of discussion at WG9).

Decisions sought: Agree that BB2 will be presented to the Sponsors’ Group Agree that BB3 will be presented to the Sponsors’ Group Agree that BB summary will be presented to the Sponsors’ Group

4. Cabinet update paper Pathfinder is required to report back to joint Ministers, from time to time, on project progress.

Decisions sought: Agree that the paper circulated will be presented to joint Ministers 5. Symposium Update of symposium planning. Approval of content, target audience, timetable and venue is sought.

Decisions sought: Agree that the symposium planning documents be presented to the SG for approval Agree that the symposium promotional material be presented to the SG for approval and promotional activities commence immediately SG approval is given

6. Stock take Participants report individually to the group on progress to date
