Game Update

My game is going pretty well now, I have finally started to get comfortable with the features that marketing has to offer me. I am learning all the concepts associated with the game and with the real world scheme of marketing. I haven’t made any money in the game but I feel really comfortable with it. I understand why I was loosing and why I did make money at the times I did. I have learned how to go search the markets on the internet and see why they are doing what they are doing. Now I am well aware of why the markets are bearish and bullish at the times that they are.

Futures Market: My futures positions have been strong and weak. My main fault for loosing so much money is for not keeping up in the markets at the beginning of the game. Now I am more comfortable with the positions I am taking which are either bearish or bullish. I made money on my wheat when I went short because china decided to not import some or out wheat. I also went long on my soybeans when brazil was getting to much rain and to little rain. My cattle are not to good. I am finding it hard to decide if I should go long or short because the market jumps around so much, without a really strong reasons behind the direction it is moving. Cash Market: My cash market is really good. I am really happy with what I have done so far in the soybean and wheat market. I feel I am making good money on my cash trade and I am way higher than my break even price so I am happy with the money I am making. I have some cash trades left to make and I am waiting for the market to turn more bullish. Options: I am still uncomfortable with my options trades. I made 15,000 on my wheat option, but yet I still am not comfortable and know why I made money. So I am playing around with the options trying to figure out if I should go long or short.

All in all I am happy with my game so far and I will keep plugging away at it. My game will not open therefore I cannot print off my report.
