Arapahoe County District court judge finalists selected Governor to appoint new district court judge
The Eighteenth Judicial District Nominating Commission met in Centennial on
Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, to consider candidates for a vacancy on the district court. This vacancy was created by the decision of the Honorable James F. Macrum, Jr. not to stand for retention. Three nominees were selected and certified to the Governor. They are
Carlos Armando Samour, Jr., of Littleton; Valeria Neale Spencer of Centennial; and
Vincent Renalda White of Parker.
Under the Colorado Constitution, the Governor has 15 days from Aug. 3, 2004, within which to appoint one of the nominees as district court judge for the Eighteenth
Judicial District.
