The entrant whose name appears on the entry form or her authorized replacement hereby agrees that the Greater Cincinnati USBC WBA, it’s Officers and agents shall be liable only to the extent of returning entry fee, if and when entrant shall be prevented from bowling in the tournament through delay, unexpected yet necessary schedule changes or premature termination of the tournament which may be brought about by way of a national emergency or emergencies or causes relating thereto or there from fires, strikes, lockouts or labor difficulties beyond the control of the Greater Cincinnati USBC WBA.

The Greater Cincinnati USBC WBA will not be held responsible for any claims of damage, demands or actions whatsoever as a result of participation in this tournament. TOURNAMENT RULES

1) All participants in the Gr. Cincinnati USBC WBA Senior tournament must be members in good standing of the Gr. Cincinnati USBC WBA, Ohio USBC and USBC. Entrant must be at least 50 years of age at time of participation. Games will be bowled in compliance with USBC tournament rules and regulations. 2) There will be separate divisions for each of 5 age classifications as follows: A-75 years and up; B- 70 through 74; C-65 through 69; D-60 through 64; E-55 through 59 and Special-50 through 54 (A replacement bowler must be in the same age classification as the original entrant). Verification of age may be required (drivers’ license or state ID). 3) This is classified as a handicap singles tournament consisting of four (4) games, dropping the lowest. Total pins for three (3) games, including handicap of 90% of 210, will determine the winner of each division. Entrants are eligible to compete only once in this tournament. 4) Division Winners in A, B, C, D and E will have the opportunity to participate in the 2010 Ohio USBC WBA Senior Tournament, with entry fee paid by the Greater Cincinnati USBC WBA. If the Division winner is unable or declines to participate in the Ohio USBC WBA Senior Tournament, the second place finisher will be given the option to participate. 5) In the event of a tie for the winner of any division, Co-champions will be declared. First and second position prize money will be combined and divided equally between the individuals who tie for the championship. Only one winner will bowl the state tournament and this participant will be determined by the highest game, including handicap. In the event of a tie for all other positions, the prize monies will be combined and divided equally. 6) Entrants must use her highest final USBC certified average (regular or substitute) for 21 games or more in the 2008-2009 winter season. If no 2008-09 season average is available, the current season average (for 12 games or more) at time of entry will be used. The league secretary must verify the current average for 12 games or more in writing. An entrant who has no average meeting the tournament requirements must enter with a scratch average of 210. 7) Prize money is returned 100%. Payout ratio will be 1:5. 8) Any bowler arriving late shall begin play and the score shall count, beginning in the current frame in progress. 9) USBC Rule 319(a-2) “ten pin average increase”, and USBC Rule 319(d) “$600 prize winnings” will not apply. USBC Rule 319(a-3) “bowlers’ responsibility for correct average” will apply. 10) Individuals who wish to bowl together must indicate so on the entry form. You may bowl with individuals from other divisions. 11) Preferred times will be granted when possible. When first choice is not available, the next available time will be assigned. Entrant will be notified if first choice is not available. 12) Remittance must be in the form of a check or money order made payable to the Gr. Cincinnati USBC WBA. A $35.00 charge will be made by the Gr. Cincinnati USBC WBA for any checks returned by the bank unpaid.

Tournament may be extended at the discretion of the Association Manager or Tournament Committee
