Woodland Tree skirt/Table Topper Class Dates: 3rd Friday for 3 months (7/17,8/21 & 9/18) Times: 10:00 to 1:00 2:00 to 5:00 Instructor: Nancy Hyde
Introduction This 52" tree skirt – (a table topper if you don’t want to cut it) has a primitive flavor to it with homespun’s, raw edge applique`d pine trees, snowman, deer and log cabins in the woods. You’ll have it completed for the winter months.
Fabrics Needed Kit available
Supplies Pattern and Kit or your choice of fabric
Working Sewing Machine
Extra sewing machine needles
Cutting mat
Rotary cutter
Scissors
Thread
Rulers we will be using in class:
Creative Grid – 24 ½ by 8 ½
You may use any rulers that will enable you to cut and square your blocks to correct sizes.
Pre-Class Preparation
You will need enough freezer paper to draw a 52 inch square, a 24 x 8 ½ inch ruler, a pencil or pen, paper scissors.
Fabric for background cutting instructions will be discussed during class. You will most likely cut at home.
