The Hale County Commissioners Court will meet in regular session on Monday, May 23, 2016, in the Commissioners Courtroom located on the first floor of the Hale County Courthouse, 500 Broadway Street, Plainview, Texas. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. This Notice is posted pursuant to the Texas Meeting Act (TEX.GOV’T CODE § 551.001 et seq.). In accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, we invite all attendees to advise us of any special accommodations needed because of a disability. Please submit your request at least 48 hours prior to the meeting you wish to attend. This facility is wheelchair accessible and handicapped parking is available on the south side of the building. Pursuant to the authority granted under Government Code, Chapter 551, the Commissioners Court may convene a closed session to discuss any of the above agenda items. Immediately before any closed session, the specific section or sections of Government Code, Chapter 551 that provide statutory authority to convene a closed session will be announced.
