APOSTC Law Enforcement Academy Baldwin County @ Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Training Center 15950 Mosley Road, Stapleton, Al 36578 (251) 937-1840 GLOCK INSTRUCTOR WORKSHOP The APOSTC Law Enforcement Academy Baldwin County will host a one (3) day Instructor Workshop. Instruction and Certification will be provided by Glock Inc.

This course is limited to Law Enforcement, Government, or Military personnel only.

You must be a certified state or NRA firearm instructor and a certified GLOCK armorer. Supporting documentation is required prior to attending an Instructor's Workshop

Student supplies GLOCK pistol, 1000 rds ammo, leather gear, 6 dummy rds & eye/ear protection.

****Day One**** Morning (8:00 – 12:00) • Introduction, Instructor & Student Biographies Afternoon (1:00 – 5:00) • Overview of GLOCK Pistol in Context of Auto Pistol • Target Discussion Design • “DRY FIRE” Practice • General & Range Safety Rules • Weapon Presentations from “Ready Positions” & “The • Adult Learning Concepts Draw” • Critical Incident Characteristics & Human Stress Reactions • Loading & Unloading Procedures • Fundamentals of Modern Firearms Training • Trigger Reset Drills • Practical Speed & Combat Accuracy • Individual Skills Assessment • Ancillary Equipment Review (Holster, Pouches, • Reloading Drills Eyes/Ears) • Stoppage Reduction & Clearing Drills • Range Familiarization & Operating Procedures • Single & Multiple-Shot Range Drills • Review of Marksmanship Fundamentals • Close Quarter Battle Drills Lunch Break • Weapon Clearing & Range Maintenance Information

****Day Two**** Morning (8:00 – 12:00) • Trigger Reset Review Afternoon (1:00 – 5:00) • Cover & Concealment • Low Light Techniques & Demonstrations • One Hand Techniques (Primary & Support) • Low Light Range Drills (Range Conditions Permitting) • Live Fire Exercises • Shooting, Moving & Communicating • Position Drills (Standing , Kneeling & Prone) • Multiple Target & Transition Drills Lunch Break • Injured Officer Drills • Man-on-Man Drills & Competition (Stress Exercises) • Review of Evaluation Course of Fire

****Day Three**** Morning (8:00 – 12:00) • Review of Trigger Reset • Working With The Problem Shooter • Review of All Live-Fire Drills • Individual Skills Improvement Assessment • Evaluation & Qualification Course of Fire (Minimum Score 90%) • Cleaning & Maintenance • Test Firing Opportunities for Other GLOCK Pistol Models • Class Conclusion & Farewell *NOTE: This is a generic agenda and may be altered somewhat by the Instructor.
