This year’s theme is Cultivate: Connection, Innovation, and Inspiration. Connection is about nurturing the rich diversity of our network by linking the facilitators of tomorrow with those who have built our rich history and by connecting those working in community and grassroots spaces with those working at the highest levels of business and government. We want to cultivate relationships and collaborations across culture, language, age, and place. We are looking for sessions that showcase the variety and diversity of ToP practitioners. Sessions examples could be how to…. create forums for civic dialogue?
use ToP across language divides?
increase participation in neighborhood associations?
Innovation focuses on new and cutting edge ways of using the methods – pushing the boundaries on creative applications, new research, and fresh fields of work. We are looking for sessions that show how ToP can be integrated with cutting edge businesses practices and technologies. Sessions examples could be how to…. harvest data through forms and templates that are built using ToP methods
Integrate ToP to make current business and organizational trends more participatory, such as systems mapping, results-based accountability, logic modeling, or prototyping?
Inspiration calls us to glimpse what’s possible with ToP, in groups and organizations large and small. How are ToP methods creating profound social change in complex times? Where are ToP practitioners helping break through the toughest, most complicated challenges facing us now? We are looking for sessions that offer inspiring examples of applying ToP to help groups create change and inspire communities and organizations to adopt and utilize ToP. Sessions examples could be what are…. out-of-the-box ways you've found to introduce people to ToP methods besides just attending a course?
