Proposal: Space Rental at Reynolda Church, EPC The Reynolda Group of Narcotics Anonymous has requested to use the Youth room in the Johnston Building on every Friday evening, 6:30-8:30 p.m. beginning August 20, 2010. In case of a larger speaker meeting, they may request use of the Fellowship Hall. This request was approved. 4. Pictorial directory Mickey Thigpen presented a motion to use Olan Mills to produce a new online church directory. They have a system that will allow us to directly import pictures into our Shelby System, and we will also be allowed to use these pictures to print directories when needed. Gloria Wommack seconded the motion. Motion passed. Mickey will meet with the Olan Mills representative to set up photography dates. 5. Guide to Copyright Law for Churches Mickey Thigpen presented this as information. If anyone would like to see this guide it is kept in his office. 6. Ascent Service on August 29 On Sunday, August 29, we will not have any air conditioning in Fellowship Hall because the system is being replaced. So, for that Sunday we are going to relocate The Ascent to the Sanctuary, combining our 11:00 a.m. services, with the Chapel as overflow. 7. Jennifer Lockert will lead the Reynolda Preschool for this next school year, and Christal Giese will be working part-time with Jennifer Simmons to keep the other preschool activities and classes running smoothly.

Hello Reynolda Directors Board,

Reynolda has blessed my son Michael and I tremendously these past two years that words cannot express! We look forward to a blessed future with our Reynolda Family as the Lord leads! Thank you all for all you do to provide such a great church home for us!

I have been talking to Pastor Chris and Mickey about a Children's Fitness and Character Development television show called "Thomas Anonymous and the Earthling Alliance." I have had this seed in my Spirit and been working on for over seven years. The program's pilot script and vision has been very well received by four major networks. Lord willing, it is time to put the script and vision on the screen. Experienced volunteers from the church have offered to help with the production and at least four of our Reynolda children will be participating in this wonderful production. I am excited to be able to see just how much God will bless our congregation through this.

As I have mentioned to Pastor Chris and Mickey, I would like to use the Club House live stage September 19th for a casting call from 2-5pm. Then a week of rehearsals September 27th, 28th & 30th, October 1st from 6pm-7:30. The idea is to shoot the pilot Sunday, October 3rd form 2-8pm. The first part of the show will take place on the stage. A short class room skit would be filmed in a classroom on the same day. So the Fellowship Hall would be empty by 5pm.

Mitch Garrison has offered to help with the sound board. I have budgeted $600 for a professional to bring his camera. However, if we have more experienced talent in house, I would rather keep it in the family!

So what I am asking is for the church’s blessing on this major endeavor by using the space, some equipment and any volunteer talents! Attached is a copy of the treatment and the pilot script. I am making so changes to the script.

I hope we can work together to make this a blessing to our church family and kids and families around the world!

All the Best, All the Time, Thomas Gavin

Respectfully submitted,

Lisa Shirley
